I have been with the team for over 5 years now and joined as a Project Controller initially and over the years have progressed to manage and maintain major accounts with the likes of O2, DSGi and Samsung. My team and I are committed to delivering our promises and exceeding them where we can. I have chosen the team to reflect the Philosophy as Jayne has described but above all to be committed and loyal to the client and the brand.
What we do here at Solutions is to be experienced rather than explained. The work is difficult and challenging at times but the rewards are great, especially when you stand back and look at the result and reflect on the energy channelled to deliver what we believe for our customers is an outstanding and world class service level.

Kevin McCook | Operations Director
Having had over 20 year\'s snr. management experience in the food and electrical retailing business it felt like the natural progression and addition to my employable skills to be part of a progressive and major supplier to the retail sector. Having previously worked alongside Solutions it has now been great to \"see the other side\" as it where and how it works which in turn has completed for me the \"detail\" of retailing. I have now gained the unique experience of understanding from the idea and concept design stage all the way through to managing and working in the front line of the complete store structure and operation.
This is a highly competitive sector of business that will not allow or compensate for poor standards and execution. Pete Hewitt | Project and I.T. Controller
I have been with Solutions for five years, starting in the warehouse progressing through to the office supporting client enquiries and working closely on bespoke projects as a Project Controller. This has given me a more broad experience of the whole business and that of the potential client expectation.
Also part of my role within the Solutions team is to support the I.T. infrastructure and development of best working processes to improve our capacity which in turn provides an unparalleled service level to our clients.Â
I enjoy the complexity of the clients and the business, there is never time to be idle here as there is constantly something needing to be achieved and it is that sense of personal and team achievement felt when you complete a large rollout or project that makes you proud to be part of it.
Andy Horsley | NSD Project Controller
I've been at Solutions for two years. My background is in small business management with experience in both product development and promotions.
My main roll within the team is managing the rollout of 'New Store Design (NSD)' type stores for O2 Retail UK. The program includes a complete refresh store installation, rolling out on average of up to 6 stores per week, supporting multiple teams of fitters and a team of warehouse operatives.
Over the 2 years I have overseen the rollout of almost 200 stores, through pre production to store handover and going forward, also manage store update programs and mini rollouts.
With this experience I've gained a complete knowledge base of equipment throughout the O2 Retail NSD estate and have forged my place as a valuable member of the Solutions team and an integral part of the Clients team too.
It's my job to fully understand the product and design language. The team and I work with a confidence that consistently delivers the very highest standard.
Adam Worley | Project Controller
I've been at Solutions 8 years and originally began as a Warehouse Operative before taking up opportunities given to me to progress through the company to my current position as one of SD's most Senior Project Controllers.
I currently control our Samsung UK account which involves me being the main point of contact for Samsung UK's Mobile division. Within this role I am tasked with many requests which involve replenishment, stock controlling, account management, day to day dispatches, adhoc client dispatch rollouts and providing detailed data reports.
This account like my own career has expanded enormously creating opportunities for me to establish long term business partners and relationships with the client. This in turn has created new business threads and larger opportunities for the Solutions Diverse Team to expand.
I also work close to other Account Managers and their clients, such as our O2 and Nikon accounts to provide expert product knowledge and I.T. support for smooth running of complex rollouts or individual site visits that requires me to use my CAD design and drawing skills.
Jo Hubbard | Office Manager
Basically my role is to support the rest of the team in being able to finally deliver theirs. I work with my team of assistants covering all areas of office administration from Financial Accounts and Invoicing all the way to answering the door and making the coffees. Every part of what my team and I do is a contribution to the bigger picture which is in the client's best interest.
What is unique here is that just like the name of our company says we are Solutions and we are Diverse. Our roles are always developing and we have skills that you just could not begin to learn in any other company. We are the front facing part of the business and for that reason we are always proud to be the first contact or impression of the business to our customers and suppliers.
Darren Preston | Warehouse Manager
Fairly new to the company and a post graduate Batchelor of Science and Physical Geography I have taken perhaps the unusual position as Warehouse Manager at Solutions. Not so, as this role is so \"diverse\" I am literally learning and being involved with the day to day typical running of any standard warehouse across the U.K. and gaining useful experience with the Project Controllers and Snr Management team.
We are very focused in delivering accurate picks and distributing out to our clients in an organised and timely fashion. We have a less than 1% error rate in picking, however, we constantly strive for perfection. Whether we be building a store or picking a screw driver for replenishment we take ownership of the need, pride in the delivery and accountability for the results.
I see this role as a spring board to greater opportunities within Solutions and I am very proud to be part of the team.
